I'm a professionally trained face painter with a passion for creating beautiful and unique designs. My training at the International Face Painting school ensures that my work is of the highest quality and adheres to all global hygiene and sanitation guidelines. With a background in early childhood education and two young children of my own, I understand the importance of creating a fun and safe experience for kids. I'm experienced with working with children with disabilities and neurodiversity. I'm dedicated to continuous learning and improvement, regularly practicing new techniques and attending professional courses to stay up-to-date with the latest trends.
I offer a Premium face painting service, using the newest face painting techniques, fresh new designs, cutomised party boards with amazing designs to choose from, and custom homemade and reusable bling.
My custom party bling that is adhered with medical-grade, double-sided tape and adds a unique touch to my face paints. I create 3D unicorn horns, spider webs, butterfly and mermaid embellishments that kids go crazy for! This is included in the price for parties of less than 20 people.
In September 2024, after graduating from the International Face Painting School as a Professional Face Painting Artist, I changed my pricing model to offer Party Packages instead of hourly pricing.
This allows me to provide the highest quality of service at every event, ensuring that both you, your guests and I feel the full joy of face painting!
From mid-November until the end of December my minimum booking time is 2 hours given the high demand period.
You can read all of my booking conditions over on my Bookings Page and my Pricing.
Absolutely! While I specialise in children's face painting, I can also provide face painting for a variety of other events, such as corporate functions, festivals, and special occasions. I actually LOVE painting adults. I'm especially interested in gorey Halloween face painting using special effects and lots of fake blood. But I am equally as excited to turn up to your wedding or baby shower and paint beautiful delicate flowers. I have recently started to offer baby bump maternity paintings as well.
Please feel free to contact me to discuss your specific needs.
We require a deposit to secure your booking and ensure that we can allocate our time and resources accordingly. As a face painter, we often have multiple bookings and need to plan our schedule in advance. When you cancel, we may miss out on other potential clients who could have booked that time slot.
Here's why our deposit policy is in place:
Limited Availability: During peak seasons like December, face painters are in high demand. By securing your booking with a deposit, you're ensuring that we can hold that date exclusively for you.
Lost Income: If you cancel, we may have turned down other bookings based on your reservation. This can result in lost income, especially during busy periods.
Bad Weather: In case of bad weather, it's the client's responsibility to have a backup plan. While we cannot guarantee a rescheduled date, we will do our best to accommodate you if possible.
When will I receive a refund?
Cancellation Due to Sickness: If WE need to cancel due to illness, we may be able to reschedule your booking or we will offer a full refund. If the client needs to cancel due to sickness a refund may be offered depending on circumstances.
Please note: In December we have a 50% non-refundable deposit policy in place to protect our business and ensure fair practices for all clients.
While I love face painting all ages, I generally do not face paint children under 3 years old. This is because young children may not have the fully developed motor skills or patience required to sit still for a prolonged period. Additionally, their skin is more sensitive and prone to reaction, some experiences have shown that exposure to face paint can cause eczema. Professional face painting brands also recommend using their products on over 3s only.
As a Professional Face Painter, I only use professional quality products from Australia, New Zealand, UK and US. Reactions to face paint are uncommon but can occur. Parents / caregivers give consent to their child being face painted under this knowledge and will request a skin test if concerned about reaction.
Paint brands that I use include Tag, Diamond FX, Fusion, Face Paints Australia, Global, Mehron, PXP and Face Paint by BodyFX. Please refer to the manufacturer's website for full list of ingredients.
All painting utensils (brushes and stencils) are cleaned between every customer and sponges are only used on one person per event and washed thoroughly between events. This reduces the risk of transferring skin conditions.
We know your kid's love to keep their face paint on as long as possible. But face paint should be removed before bed to reduce risk of reaction and staining.
Gentle removal:
Rub painted area with liquid soap until paint starts to lift.
Use a wet cloth with warm water and gently rub away face paint.
Repeat as needed.
For stubborn stains use coconut or olive oil and a cotton pad and gently rub. Rinse face after.
Some colours (blues & greens in particular) stain more than others as do paints in the eyebrow area. Follow the above steps to remove.
We do not recommend using wet wipes or make-up remover on kids, these products can increase the likelihood of reactions.
Glitter - wipe chunky glitter off first before washing the face to reduce the risk of the glitter going into the eyes. Use a card to scrape the glitter off easily and dispose of in the bin.
No! I offer baby bump maternity painting, body painting, special FX and I offer party plaits, tie in hair braiding and temporary ink or glitter tattoos.
Party plaits are colourful braided hair that can be easily attached to children with hair at shoulder length or longer. These braids are reusable and a great addition to face painting as a special treat for the birthday girl.
I also offer glitter tattoos or black ink tattoos which are a fantastic addition to your face painting or in place of face painting if you are having a pool party. Glitter tattoos are waterproof and last 3-5 days when cared for. They are easily removed with oil.
I also offer water resistant face painting which is a great option for summer, sports, pool parties or any water events. Water resistant face painting is easily removed with soap and hot water.
I try to strike a balance between showing off my work and what I'm capable of (so you know what you're paying for) versus being respectful of a child's privacy and that photos live forever online. I often take photos with eyes closed and showcase the majority of my face painting skills on myself or older teens who already have online presences. I will always remove photos when asked to do so and only take photos with permission from both the child and parent.
While face painting may seem like a simple activity, it involves a significant investment of time and resources. I use only the highest quality, FDA-approved face paints from professional suppliers, ensuring the safety and longevity of the designs. This means they cost a lot more than what you will see advertised on TEMU or the likes (one rainbow cake of paint is around $28). The cheap paints you see online are not FDA approved and have not been tested to the extent of professional paints hence adverse reactions may be more likely.
Additionally, I spend countless hours running my business, upskilling, planning party menus, and learning new techniques to provide you with a unique and memorable experience. Investing in professional courses and equipment also contributes to the overall cost.
I only use high-quality, FDA-approved face paints from reputable suppliers. These paints are specifically designed for face painting and are safe for children's skin. They are also long-lasting and vibrant, ensuring that your child's design looks amazing throughout the event. You can find out more on my product page.
Other than a sheltered space out of direct sun, rain or wind gusts, I can set up pretty much anywhere that is on flat ground.
I have a 1.2m long camping table that I use and a tall makeup chair for kids to sit in. I bring and dispose of my own water. I am happy to use a tall (dining room height) table or benchtop of yours but require a minimum of 1mx60cm of table space.
It helps to put me out of the way of direct traffic so my table isn't being knocked and risking damage to my equipment. More information is provided in my terms set out on my Booking Page.
Definitely! I currently offer 1-1 lessons for absolute beginners or new face painters looking to increase there skills. Email or DM me to find out more.
